A few months ago I was having this same dilemma and I decided to go for it. It ended up not being very flattering on me, but I was glad I went for it so now I know not to do it again, plus I'm totally a fan of the growing out stage, it's usually quite cute. You have a beautiful face, and you could totally rock a shorter hairdo. I had the exact same cut as the photo you posted a few years ago, and again a few months ago. I absolutely loved it, however I have natural curly hair and I flat ironed it everyday. Since you have straight hair, I bet it would be gorgeous!

Honestly, your hair isn't super long right now and I think that shorter do would look fabulous on you!! You have the straight hair and bangs, it would look so great.

And you're right, it will always grow back! If you're super upset with it (if you do it) get clip in hair like Katherine Heigl in The Ugly Truth ;-) hehehe.
