Born and raised in the Midwest, Katy graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Creative Writing. A longtime lover of fashion, she started her personal style blog, Kansas Couture, in September of 2008. Through daily outfit photos, she conveys an eclectic but accessible sense of style on a serious budget. While she currently works as a copywriter, fashion and blogging continue to gain importance in her life. When she’s not blogging, Katy can be found thrifting, watching movies and playing with her pug Igby.
