My style inclinations are far from sporty, but since it's a strong trend right now, I thought I'd participate a least a little with these athletic-soled oxfords. As usual, the yellow won me over. Plus, they're perfect for dog-walking!

Full Swing

With the weather warming up after a bitter winter, I have an undeniable urge to get outside and play! Of course, cute, comfortable shoes are a must. Luckily, my longtime friends at Loly in the Sky have delivered yet again with their darling spring shoe collection. How could you say no to these fun little face flats? It also seems appropriate that I'm wearing what appears to be a little schoolboy uniform, eh? See you on the playground!

I didn't plan to take an embarrassingly long break from the blog, but between snow, cold, laziness, busyness, lack of inspiration, lack of light...it just happened. Excuses, excuses! Anyway, with Daylight Savings Time and warmer temperatures, things are on the up and up!

Warming Trend

Yesterday we got some much-needed relief from relentless winter weather! It's a wonder I didn't show up to work in short shorts and a tank. I did take advantage of the milder temps and showed a little leg in a midi skirt but kept the rest of the ensemble reasonable with a sweater and boots. It's also staying light later into the evening, and Daylight Savings is coming up soon, which means lots more outfit photos (with proper lighting and all that good stuff). Yay for spring!

Happy Valentine's Day, loves! From the pink and red color scheme to the sweet surprises to the lovey-dovey vibes all around, I'm such a sucker for this holiday. It was hard to narrow down my outfit choices, but I predictably reached for the leather pants yet again (I know, I know!). I loved the edgy contrast they gave my super girly blouse and shoes.
