Back to Basics

Shirt: Old Navy, $15 // Sweater: Wild Man Vintage, $13 // Jeans: Courtesy of Fossil // Trench coat: Target kids section, $12 // Shoes: Seychelles, $23

After all that talk about my warm weather wardrobe, it was downright cold on Sunday! I layered on cozy classics and strolled downtown for pizza and a movie. Not the most exciting outfit, but it worked for me!

For reals it has been chilly! This is March weather! I have totally been feeling tunics and skinny legs right now.

I couldn't believe how cold the weather has gotten! It was in the 40's today for us after it being in the 80's last week! I pulled out one of my thick knit sweaters to wear!

Your outfit is beautifully constructed.
So sharp.
I ought to shop in kids' sections more.
(Oh wait. I am still sort of a child, if not a teenager.)

I love the color of your sweater :) beautiful color on you.

Totally understand the weather issue. It was 83 last week and 45 yesterday. Where has the beautiful Midwest spring gone?!

I like the combination of basics you have with this outfit.. Love that you got your jacket in the kids section!! The weather here in Florida dropped about 10 degrees.. So instead of being ninety something it's in the eighties.. Wouldn't mind a cool breeze right about now.

Oh, I know! It's freezing in Chicago, today, too! I love the orange sweater peeking out, and that striped top is marvelous.
