Snow (Birth) Day!

Bunny shirt: ModCloth, $20 after credit courtesy of ModCloth // Plaid shirt: Thrifted, $1 // Sweater: Forever 21, $18 // Jeans: Courtesy of Fossil // Socks: Forever 21, $3 // Boots: Courtesy of Timberland and Lucky // Coat: Secondhand Urban Outfitters, gift

I promise I'll shut up about my birthday soon, but it's been more of a week-long celebration than a single day! This is what I wore on my actual birthday, which ended up being rather blizzard-y. Just the other morning, I was thinking about how mild our winter has been. The weather gods must have read my mind and decided to give me a winter storm. Thanks... I think. While the precipitation did put a damper on some of my plans (and the impractical outfit I intended to wear), it was an absolutely beautiful day.

I celebrate my b-day for a full week. This week just happens to fall right after the 7 days of Valentines, also a celebration of me. So I just like to celebrate me a lot, I guess.

This outfit is wonderful and makes me want to curl up at the pub with a dice or cards game, a cheese plate and some beers.

That was a pleasant surprise for your birthday! My birthday is next week and the excitement is building up. I just wish I had a day off for it. A Snow Day would be perfect too:)

Oh, this is really cute. Love the picture in the snow. Love it all - the jacket, the boots, the shirt, sweater. You look adorable.

Happy Birthday!

I'm curious about your boots - do they keep your toes warm? I am in serious need of new snow boots because my feet freeze in mine, even though they say they're for below freezing temps.

Ana -

This was the first time I've worn these boots, and they performed very well in the winter weather. They're waterproof, so great for snow. They definitely kept my feet warm, but it wasn't terribly cold the day I wore them. Below freezing but not frigid.
