Tried & True

Sweater: Target, $10 // Skirt: Urban, $6 // Socks: Forever 21, $2.50 // Boots: Target, gift // Necklace: Vintage, $6

Sometimes when I can't figure out what to wear, I'll just take a bunch of components you can't go wrong with and throw them together. In this case, that was black and white stripes, chambray, a little color for good measure and a pretty necklace. Nothing groundbreaking, but it worked for me!

I love this look. Especially the "color for good measure." Agreed.

I really like those red socks peeking out from your cute boots. The denim and stripes combo is great too.

lol, that is the exact same formula I wear when I can't find anything I like. Easy, yet cute. A great go-to!

Your socks are the prettiest colour!

Probably one of my very favorite pieces in my wardrobe is my striped black and white cotton top. It really does go with just about anything, is so comfy, and simply classic. Plus, if I pair it with the right things, it mysteriously looks blue and white, instantly doubling its wearability!
