Red-Eyed and Blue

Dress (worn as top): Old Navy // Skirt: Vintage, thrifted // Necklace: Forever 21 // Shoes: Lucky Brand

I used to be an extremely avid thrifter, hitting up a variety of spots multiple times a week. In the last year or so though, I've gotten out of the habit, and I miss it something fierce! Determined to change this, I spent much of last Sunday secondhand shopping. While I lack the patience and stamina I once had, and the trip wasn't very fruitful, it felt really good to sift through those racks again.

While I love thrifting, it's hard to find the extra money to go. Kudos to you for getting back in the game.

sometimes i think it's good to stay out for awhile because thrifting can quickly lead to hoarding habits for me! i just cant seem to leave behind cute things! even if they need mending or don't fit right...

I haven't been thrifting as much as I used to either, but I actually got to go today! It certainly feels good to be back on the hunt.

Your blue skirt looks amazing with the gingham top. Such a cool necklace and heels too. Everything looks great!

thrifting takes SO MUCH patience - sifting through all the clothes can be overwhelming and its discouraging when you can't find quite the right thing. Best of luck with your future trips!
