Now that I have my camera back, I'm going to be playing catch-up this week! Let's kick things off with this outfit from awhile back when it was much, much warmer. Not that I'm complaining about the current weather of fifties and rain. I actually love it and am taking full advantage with a hot beverage and movie on the couch. What else am I loving? This full faux leather skirt! Can't wait to wear it more. Oh, and sorry for the crazy shadows. If memory serves, the sun was setting while I took these shots.

Though I'm not much of a t-shirt person, I just can't get enough of the shape and cute print of this one. I actually wear it quite often -- usually on days I feel like being comfortable and a little lazy -- but I realized that I've never shown it on the blog. I'm not wearing it right now, but I am feeling mighty lazy, so it seemed an appropriate day for its belated debut.

It was not until the self-timer had ticked down and my camera began to snap away that I realized I didn't have my shoes on. It's been that kind of week! I figured I'd just roll with it for the first round of shots, and then I got my act together. Thank goodness Friday is here! As for the outfit, isn't this necklace badass?

Keeping it Simple

Busy days call for extra easy ensembles, so yesterday (while running late to work) I tossed on this comfy jersey dress and a few quick accessories including some glasses to hide behind. My outfit and my outlook are both a bit better today.
