Minty Fresh

Lately my technique for getting dressed has been taking a pretty but not so weather-appropriate piece and pairing it with tights, boots and a jacket! It's also a great way to dress down a more fancy frock for daytime wear.

Warming Trend

The piles of snow are finally starting to melt, and it has me feeling more inspired than I have in awhile! I'm eager for warmer temperatures to roll around, so I can start wearing the spring outfits I've been dreaming up.

Seeing Red

This blouse is a recent thrift store find that I had a hard time committing to for some reason. Right now I'm trying to purge my closet rather than add to it, but I figured a $4 purchase wasn't worth fretting over. Plus, red is rivaling yellow as the main color of my closet these days, so I'm sure it'll get its share of wear!

Wintry Conditions

Thanks to two blizzards in one week, I've spent more than my fair share of time in leggings, sweaters and wellies! As beautiful as the fallen snow looks and as nice as it has been to hunker down in my cozy apartment with my pug, I am looking forward to wearing proper shoes again sometime soon.
