Secret Garden

Jacket: Vintage via Goodwill, $5 // Tank: Thrifted, $2 // Shorts: Thrifted and hemmed, $1 // Shoes: Pour la Victoire via Goodwill, $5

I was thrilled to find these high-waisted shorts at a thrift store recently. They are the prettiest shade of pink and are covered in sweet little polka dots. They were actually borderline comical at first, but after lopping off 6", they're just perfect.

I didn't realize this while wearing it, but this is a completely thrifted outfit. I love it when that happens!

I love the colour palette! And your location! I dream of one day being in a city with thrift stores and wearing a complete recycles outfit :)

This is PERFECTION! I love how you've modernized the shorts, and how you've styled them. Not to mention the lovely foliage in the background!

do you alter your clothes yourself? I get so bored hemming stuff by band... But I'm a disaster with a sewing machine! Anyway, your shorts are amazing.

Oh, great shorts! So lucky to be able to sew - I feel like my thrifted/vintage item count would go up substantially if I could alter the items on my own. Just started reading your blog - and really love your sense of style!!
