Short Skirt, Long Jacket

Top: Vintage via Goodwill, $3 // Skirt: Urban Outfitters, $25 // Sweater: Old Navy via Salvation Army, $5 // Boots: Vintage via Wild Man Vintage, $15 // Necklace: Forever 21, $9

While chunky knits are especially big this season, they're a no-brainer for fall and winter every year, which makes me eager to expand my collection! Luckily, thrift stores are a good source for cute, cozy sweaters. I like how this oversize cardigan tones down an otherwise flirty ensemble.

LOVE this outfit. It looks so polished and ladylike but super comfy at the same time. Makes me want to grab a chunky knit and cozy up by a fire with a mug of hot chocolate!

This is perfect. I love the casual knit with the more flirty elements - a great mix.

Oooh, love it. Especially the skirt, so quaint. I wish I could start wearing boots and chunkier sweaters but the weather is still too warm here. I tried wearing shorts and boots the other day and it was just too hot. :(

I totally love this for beginning of fall! Still light with bare legs but the boots add warmth, and the sweater!!

As I've been thrifting I've been keeping my eye open for chunky sweaters, but I think I may have something like this in my closet right now...love the length and how you styled the skirt high-waisted!

And your 'do is definitely rockin' these days, girl ! :)
