Like Ice Cubes in an Ocean

Jacket: Collection via TJMaxx, $30 (purchased with gift card) // Shirt: UO, $10 // Shorts: Old! // Leggings: Poof! via TJMaxx // Boots: alice + olivia for Payless, sample from work  // Necklace: Gift

After weeks of perpetual snow-covered ground, it slowly started to melt away over the weekend. While the winter wonderland was fun and beautiful at times, it's nice to see patches of grass and mud again, to leave the house without covering every bit of skin. I wore this grungy get-up while bumming around downtown on Saturday.

Love it! Those boots are incredibly cool! I know what you mean about the weather, I've been enjoying this little winter warm spell, though like Lisa I hate the "dirty" snow

The shoes kick butt!

Isn't it nice to see less slush? Those black tights and boots are fierce, but it'll be nice to see you be less despondent-looking!

Beautiful! I love that you shop at TJMaxx. I get the best stuff from there. Really cool and unique pieces too, that none of my friends have because they never shop there. And then they always end up asking me where I got my ___?

Those boots! :D
I tried to wear plain black pumps to work the other day, coming from a teeny tiny small town everyone just stared.. haha.
I wish I lived in a place that could be referred to as a city.

You have a beautiful smile Katy, I'd love to see it more :)

I love this outfit, especially the fun cut-offs! Such a good way to remix short-shorts for winter.

I really love this look. I like how it mixes tough (boots) with soft (heart locket) and classic (striped tee) with trends (shorts with tights).

Corie -

That's too bad! These boots were from earlier this fall, and they sold out really quickly.
