Good Wholesome Fun

Sweater: Free via Clothing Swap // Shirt: Old Navy, $8 // Jeans: Tilt, $18 // Belt: Thrifted, $1 // Necklace: Gift // Shoes: F21, gift

A sweet, pale pink sweater with girly accessories seemed a fitting ensemble for a Friday night of bowling. Kind of '50s highschooler with a modern twist.

This is such a sweet outfit.. I especially love the sweater!

By the way, I'm doing some heels as a giveaway on my blog that I think you'd like, the natural ones remind me of what you are wearing here, but the grey color is also amazing.. check them out!

Too bad the bowling shoes probably interfered with the look. Or did they improve the look? I think we need some bowling shoe pictures...hahaha

that heart necklace gives your look that extra sweet punch! The baby blue belt is nice pop of color also. Great look. Did you get any strikes??

i'm loving those shoes! are they wicked for walking?

and, from one midwestern gal to another...
what are your thoughts on heels in snow? it's hard for me to bring myself to do it save for a special occasion. but i'm getting sick of boots! sigh...the big questions in life: fashion vs. comfort.

I got one strike! Though I love bowling, I'm not the best at it. I'm notorious for getting 9 pins down but never getting the spare.

Generally speaking, I vote comfort over fashion. Actually, comfort AND fashion! Of course, tennis shoes will always be more comfortable than pumps, but it's more fun to wear pumps. If I have to do much walking or the weather is nasty, I stick to practical (but still cute) shoes. Also, I will sometimes wear practical shoes en route somewhere and then change into different ones once I'm there.
