Is It Over Yet?

Do you guys ever have those weeks where getting dressed is impossible and every combination you try just isn't quite right? Yeah, I'm having one of those.
Every morning I left for work late with my bedroom resembling the aftermath of a tornado.

Dress: BB Dakota via Century 21, $25 // Turtleneck: Target, $5 // Belt: ? // Boots: Payless, $20 // Earrings: Courtesy of Early Jewelry

I was satisfied (finally!) with this more edgy, casual treatment of my favorite work dress. Hopefully the bad spell has ended. I'm in charge of a run for a local fashion show on Monday and need to be in top form! More details to come on that.

I totally feel you. However, this dress is stunning on you, so that's a win.

Amongst the more details on the upcoming fashion show, can you post time and place? Sounds like it would be fun to go to, if it's open to the public.

Love the outfit!

And, yes unfortunately, I totally have those weeks. I'd like to think that one day I'll learn to get it all right and leave the house everyday feeling perfectly put together... but that's probably not gonna happen. So, you do the best you can with what you've got and enjoy the days when it all comes together.

Yes, I am also having one of those weeks, half of it is that my schedule is super messed up but I just want to dress up and feel good again. whine, whine...

Katy your so damn cute I want to put you in my pocket and pull you out whenever conversations get intense so people can revel in your beauty.... then I steal their wallets and run and you fly away.

God I'm weird....you look top notch!

Those earrings are darling! I feel the fashion doldrums settling in too, and every night I come up to a total mess of clothes on the bed and floor, which I end up shoving in my closet, probably to the dismay of my boyfriend. But you look wonderful, and I love your hair lots!

Sounds eerily familiar.

This color is brilliant, especially with the white backdrop.

i adoreee your looks, i just started my own blog of fashion and you are really an inspiration for my posts-kind off-... i can't tell you how envious i am that you can buy clothes there thrifted for $1, its insane. Here in Argentina you can't even buy a box of cigarettes with a dollar...

I defiantly know what you mean, except when I have those weeks I don't look as great as you do here :P

You look great! ♥

See, this is why sometimes cold weather is so awesome - you can dress up in all sorts of ways and in so many layers and get away with it!

Break a leg on your show, I'm sure it'll be fab. ;D

Fine outfit!

I know what you mean though, to save time I choose my outfit before I go to sleep the night before. It's a win-win situation.

Yes, I totally agree! I have had the same sort of week. Maybe it's the persistent Winter weather? Love the new hair and the look, as always.

I like how you paired the turtleneck with that dress. It makes it a bit more work/winter appropriate and is still super cute!

I have weeks like that aaaall the time. It's not that I don't like what I'm wearing, it's just that it doesn't feel RIGHT, you know? That's why I sometimes go for long periods of time without posting outfit pictures!
I really love your dress, it's such a pretty color! You look adorable! :D
