Blowin' in the Wind

Dress: Vintage, Wild Man Vintage, $18 // Bracelet: Forever 21, $6 // Shoes: Pour La Victoire via Goodwill, $6

Yesterday afternoon, I stepped out to enjoy the gorgeous weather. This resulted in some unplanned purchases including this retro dress. Whenever I find a vintage piece that fits just right, I inevitably buy it because it seems meant to be.

I love that dress, and you hair is amazing. The best is the come hither look you've got (not trying to be a creep) but it gives the photo a devilish madmen-esque look. You could be the new seductress secretary. :)

And I'm the same, if I find a vintage dress that fits, it's mine.

I know this is so creepy, but I looked at your blog just before going to bed last night. Somehow this resulted in me having a dream that you had a baby that you were hiding from your blog audience. And, of course, I was babysitting it. WTF.

Anyway, your dress is perfect! Did the shop owner shorten it? It's that perfect just-at-the-knee length. Most 50s dresses I find are upper midcalf length, which looks horrible on me.

I'm glad you're posting more again!

Sophi,

Haha, funny dream. No babies, I promise. I thought the exact same thing about this dress' length! I never find vintage dresses that hit at the right spot, but this one looks like it has the original hem! Perhaps it was made for a tiny lady. :)
