Dad's Sunglasses

Shirt: Old Navy, $8 // Sweater: Forever 21, $18 // Jeans: Forme, $20 // Boots: Seychelles via Gilt, $30 after credit // Belt: Thrifted, 50 cents // Necklace: Gift // Sunglasses: Creation Station (local store), $8

When I put this outfit together, I figured it would be a throwaway weekend look -- nothing special. Looking back, though, I really like it for some reason. Perhaps it's helped by my shades, which make me think of the delightful Darjeeling Limited. They give me a hint of Peter's effortless cool without the splitting headaches.

The outfit is simple, but the pieces work so well together, it's totally not a throwaway outfit. I really dig it, and LOVE the sunglasses!

Fantastic outfit. I especially LOVE your jeans. It's so hard to find nice fitting high waist-ed jeans. =)

I wouldn't call this a "throw away outfit"! I love it. It's casual chic. The colors all compliment one another and you look comfortable! Those are all positives in my book!

You are totally channeling Wes Anderson's utter coolness in this outfit. The high-waisted jeans, cardigan, and sunglasses are just perfect together! :)

I love the checks with the cardigan and the whole silhouette. The sunnies look cool.

You look hot in this look. And you rocked those shades! I am especially jealous of those olive booties. The studs on the front is the perfect detail.

I think this is a great look! The belt on the high waisted pants is quite flattering.

Yeeessss, Darjeeling Limited/Adrien Brody reference. I love it and this look. I love how it was originally a throwaway outfit, but I actually like it a lot, too! I'm even sensing a bit of 70s vagabond/ish/sure here. :)
