How About This Weather?

The weather is a notoriously mundane topic that people tend to bring up when they have nothing else to say. But it's actually quite pertinent to fashion bloggers because it has such an effect on what we wear. So I'm going to proceed to talk about the weather...
Turtleneck: Gap, $10 // Shorts: Insight, courtesy of 80s Purple // Hat: H&M, $15 // Belt: From a Forever 21 dress // Flats: Seychelles, $22

These pictures were taken at around 2:00 in the afternoon on Friday. The weather? 60 degrees and sunny.

The weather as of Friday night? 28 degrees and blizzarding.

A snowy weekend is a perfect excuse for excessive couch-dwelling and movie-watching, but I fear these may not survive...

Super outfit: exotic and elegant. The belt works so well with the shorts. And the hat is adorable.

yes, i'm guilty of posting about the weather too! but as you say, it totally influences what you can realistically wear, so it's bound to come up in any real style blog... very cute outfit, btw!

I talk more about the weather than any other person I know! Sometimes I forget that not everyone is as fascinated with it as I am!
And I LOVE your hat!! :D

Living in Oklahoma, I feel your pain. Sunny, beautiful two days ago, had to defrost my car this morning. Ugh.

I like how you've made the shorts look even higher with the belt. I'm going to try that! Hopefully the weather gets better for you :)

I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds weather pertinent. I feel like I mention it too much on my blog but it's true - it affects outfits a lot!
